Case Studies

Our case studies show how businesses and institutions have improved communication and visibility using Digi Screens solutions for Digital Signage.

Ryman Healthcare utilises Apollo enclosures for 65″ screens on their building sites in New Zealand and Australia to display health and safety information, company updates, staff achievements, and development progress.

  1. Health and Safety Information: The screens display crucial health and safety information to ensure all staff and visitors know the site’s safety protocols and updates. This contributes to a safe working environment.
  2. Company Updates: The screens provide a platform for broadcasting important company news and updates. This keeps everyone on-site informed about any changes or important announcements from Ryman Healthcare.
  3. Spotlight Staff Achievements: The screens also recognise and highlight staff achievements. This not only boosts morale but also fosters a positive work culture by acknowledging the hard work and dedication of employees.
  4. Development Updates: The screens show updates on the progress of the construction projects. This keeps everyone informed about the development stages and timelines, ensuring the entire team is on the same page regarding the project’s progress.

Currently, there are eight Apollo enclosures in Australia and twelve enclosures across New Zealand, indicating a widespread adoption of this technology to support communication and safety across Ryman Healthcare’s building sites.

In June 2017, Ruapehu Alpine Lifts sought a solution to display ski lift pricing and equipment rental options. These were screens above the outdoor lift and rental ticket offices at Ruapehu and Turoa Ski Fields. As the requirement was for when it was snowing, keeping the screens warm and dry was imperative!

Digi Screens’ solution was to supply three Apollo all-weather screen enclosures and three 700-nit Philips commercial screens for each ski field. Each Apollo Enclosure also included an Apollo heater which came on when the thermostatically controlled airflow system activated. They continue to operate all these years later.

Our client CBRE’s brief was for four digital directory screens to reflect the modern look of their newly renovated foyer. This was the perfect time to upgrade to Digi Screens’ digital directory screens. The 55″ Samsung commercial screens we chose were the ideal solution for this space as they are ultra slim, 28.5mm, have a minimal bezel, 11.5mm, and the screens have a 25% haze to reduce reflection in the very bright foyer. Novisign software allows remote updating of the screens, display of the building in the background, and the weather, date, and time to be displayed for the convenience of those visiting the Centre.

Our client’s brief was for a digital directory screen to reflect the modern look of the newly renovated foyer of their building. This was the perfect time to upgrade to a Digi Screens digital directory screen.  The 49″ commercial screen is the ideal solution for this space. As tenant churn is low, a USB flash drive containing the directory jpeg for display is used.

EXPENSIVE STATIC DIRECTORY TO UPDATE REPLACED BY A SCREEN UPDATED BY A USB FLASH DRIVE

Digital multi-screen directory wall

Planning to renovate and sell the building, our client required a modern and simplified digital directory screen in the foyer. The tenants could change so often that the board was not usually up to date so our client wanted to update the directory remotely.

As there were over 50 tenants we supplied the client with a video wall of 4 x 55″ screens installed under safety glass cover for protection from damage and theft. By using the software we supplied the tenants can be updated online at any time. The result is this eye-catching streamlined digital directory.

The Premier Building Auckland, underwent a makeover, taking the tired old interior and redesigning it to reflect this heritage building in his glory days in the 19th Century.

The static sign that didn’t fit the board behind, had different fonts, some logos, some not and it reflected no “love” for its surroundings.

The new 32″ directory screen installed by Digi Screens reflects the new building signage style, colour and font and is one that always catches the eye of the property owner/manager looking to improve their foyer.

The directory board needed upgrading and the frame had lost its shine. The new screen has an aluminium frame around it so you can’t see behind it when you enter the foyer. Fans were installed in the new frame to ensure the enclosed screen did not over heat.

As the wall was glass we made modifications to the support bracket so new holes did not have to be drilled in the glass tiles and risk damage.

This meant we could not install Cat5 cable to connect the internet to the media player and there was no Wi-Fi available in the lobby. The solution was to install a media player with 4G connection to the internet. The client engaged Digi Screens staff to design the screen to their instructions and we also do all updates to the directory when required.
