Digital directory screens show the way! They are a modern way to display tenant information in the foyer of your building. Too often, property and facilities managers struggle to keep traditional building directories attractive and updated. This can result in tenants, couriers, and visitors feeling frustrated with the lack of correct information. Solving this common dilemma is accomplished by adding a digital directory screen to all entrances.
WHY NOT JOIN LEADING PROPERTY MANAGERS WHO CHOOSE DIGI SCREENS TO DIRECT VISITORS TO THEIR DESTINATION
It gives you confidence that Digi Screens supplies digital directories for these leading commercial owners and property management companies.
DIGITAL DIRECTORY SCREEN BENEFITS
Eliminating the hardware and labour costs of regularly updating a static board can lower management costs. Because materials are often no longer available, and sign writers are required to update the sign it becomes expensive. However, if you install digital directory screens, your staff can update them remotely, even from another city or country.
Using USB or 4G updating options can be a great option. When the property manager does not have local internet access they can manage content remotely from another site.
Also, a USB flash drive is often sufficient to keep the directory up to date. This applies if there are few tenants, or if it is convenient to visit the building to change the USB.
It can be all you need if there are few tenants in the building with little churn. Some clients find it is convenient to visit the building to change the USB so that suffices.
By using Novisign content management software you can post up-to-the-minute changes. You can display information about a scheduled or unscheduled activity or emergency in real-time. As a result of utilising this technology the building takes on a sense of real “hands on” management. Being able to react quickly to changing circumstances gives confidence to your tenants.
DIGITAL DIRECTORY SOFTWARE ALLOWS YOU TO:
Tailor messaging to day, evening and weekend visitors. Many facilities see regular, consistent changes in clientele at different times of the day. if this is you, your digital directory screen content can be tailored and time-sensitive. This will ensure the most effective messaging is delivered to each target audience. It could be you have weekend courses in the building or night shifts working on some floors. You are now able to address each person entering the building based on when they are there.
By programming updates in advance, these can occur the day the tenancy changes and not be overlooked.
You can display the tenants, weather, news and management details in an eye-catching design. Utilising our digital signage content software allow you to create your design from a wide range of free templates. Alternatively, you can create your design using the widgets for up-to-the-minute information.
You can manage your directory remotely and easily update it as soon as tenants change

CASE STUDY 1
Digital directory screen – 626 Great South Road, Ellerslie, Auckland
Our client’s brief was for a digital directory screen to reflect the modern look of the newly renovated foyer of their building. This was the perfect time to upgrade to a Digi Screens digital directory screen. The 49″ commercial screen is the ideal solution for this space. As tenant churn is low, a USB flash drive containing the directory jpeg for display is used.
CASE STUDY 2
Digital multi-screen directory wall at Big Albert Building, 87 – 89 Albert St, Auckland
Planning to renovate and sell the building, our client required a modern and simplified digital directory screen in the foyer. The tenants could change so often that the board was not usually up to date so our client wanted to update the directory remotely.
As there were over 50 tenants we supplied the client with a video wall of 4 x 55″ screens installed under safety glass cover for protection from damage and theft. By using the software we supplied the tenants can be updated online at any time. The result is this eye-catching streamlined digital directory.
CASE STUDY 3
32″ digital directory screen – The Premier Building, Cnr Queen St and Durham St East, Auckland
The Premier Building Auckland, underwent a makeover, taking the tired old interior and redesigning it to reflect this heritage building in his glory days in the 19th Century.
The static sign that didn’t fit the board behind, had different fonts, some logos, some not and it reflected no “love” for its surroundings.
The new 32″ directory screen installed by Digi Screens reflects the new building signage style, colour and font and is one that always catches the eye of the property owner/manager looking to improve their foyer.
CASE STUDY 4
86″ Digital Directory Screen – Rapaki Property Group – 63 Albert St, Auckland
The directory board needed upgrading and the frame had lost its shine. The new screen has an aluminium frame around it so you can’t see behind it when you enter the foyer. Fans were installed in the new frame to ensure the enclosed screen did not over heat.
As the wall was glass we made modifications to the support bracket so new holes did not have to be drilled in the glass tiles and risk damage.
This meant we could not install Cat5 cable to connect the internet to the media player and there was no Wi-Fi available in the lobby. The solution was to install a media player with 4G connection to the internet. The client engaged Digi Screens staff to design the screen to their instructions and we also do all updates to the directory when required.
